Emily's Journal - A Presentation about Emily Carr

Meet 2 Canadian Olympic Bronze Medallists at Moveo

Friday, September 28 6:30 - 7:30pm FREE
Gillian Carleto and Jasmin Glaesser, 2 of Canada's Women's Team Pursuit team, part of Canada's Track Cycling Program, will be at Moveo Sport & Rehabilitation Center to talk about their experience at the Olympic Games. They will get into details about their experiences in London and also their road to success: training, injuries, nutrition and anything else you want to know!

Sports Day in North Vancouver

To celebrate Sports Day in Canada, this event showcases North Vancouver sports clubs including NorthWest Van Ringette, the Wolf Pack (Meet the players!), Vancouver Figure Skating, Floorball, Special Olympics, and more. There will be information tables, demos, and opportunities for you to try the various sports.

Celebrate Rivers

Join the City of North Vancouver, Evergreen and other community groups for an invasive plant pull and native planting event in celebration of Rivers Day. With park improvements underway, the city is pleased to celebrate one of the greatest natural areas in North Vancouver.
